Adult Outpatient Services

Outpatient counseling is a comprehensive treatment approach for adults, where they can begin refocusing their life without the use of harmful chemicals.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The goal of IOP is to facilitate the clients' development of skills and tools that will permit them to remain abstinent and sustain a level of functioning in all critical life areas.  This requires the client meet a level of acceptance of their illness and recovery that lead to a commitment to utilize sober support systems.  Clients will be assisted in having a complete and thorough understanding of their own personal relapse triggers, and in developing a personal plan for relapse prevention.

Low Intensity Treatment

Services are provided to Lorain County residents experiencing early-stage alcohol, drug, or tobacco problems.  This program will have clients participating in insight/educational groups for 6 to 12 sessions.  The program includes individual and family sessions to assist the client in determining the most appropriate next step.

AfterCare

The last phase of recovery is the AfterCare program, which serves as a support network for clients.
