Give to LCADA
LCADA is a non-profit
organization and as such it relies heavily on the generosity of the
community to finance our programs and services. Here's a list of the
many ways you can give to LCADA.
Charitable Gift by Will
The most common type of gift is
providing a bequest of cash, personal property or real estate.
These gifts are not subject to federal estate tax.
Gift of your Home
You may make a gift of your
personal residence to a charity and retain the right to live in the
home for the rest of your life.
Charitable Remainder Trust
Establishing an irrevocable
trust that provides an annual income to the donor and/or another
person for life or a period of years is often an effective way to
make a gift. These trusts may be set up by the donor's will,
directing the income to another person such as a child or a spouse,
followed by the principal going to a favorite charity.
Charitable Lead Trust
You may choose to set up a
trust that pays income annually to a charity for a fixed number of
years. After that period, the principal of the trust reverts
to you or another person. The income paid is not taxable.
